God wants us to be aggressive about Him and for the kingdom. That's why Jesus said that the violent take heaven by force. (Matthew 11:12) Pastor Herman stands that one .... Think of it in this way, those that want to make it to heaven are going to have to shove their way past anything that gets in their way. We need to get aggressive for God !!! We need to grab the power that will give us the boldness to witness to our unsaved friends, even acquaintances, co-workers, and loved ones. We must get aggressive.
Jesus said, "Blessed are they who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6). Are we truly hungering to know Him more ? I think at times we get dehydrated, or are there things that block the way and stop us ? Do we care to know Him as well as our best friends ? Are we being aggressive about God daily, or are we satisfied with the little here and theres that come our way to spend with Him?
True aggression would bring radical change to our self, family and churches, not just in how our lives changed toward God but in how God responds to us. Paul said that if we're diligent (aggressive) about seeking God, that God will reward us ( Hebrews 11:6) :o) . The Lord warns us, through the talents, that if we neglect our walk with Him, that we can lose the blessings that He has given us. let's be aggressive about His kingdom. Because for one I sure do not want to lose mine!!!!
So lets press aggresively and take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of us. (Philippians 3:12) And when we do, we will have an impact on the world and we will have purpose, passion, and adventure. There's no way around it because that's the way God created us . The main purpose we were created is to glorify Him and to enjoy Him forever. Other than that, there is nothing else that truly excites or satisfies us without regrets. Being in the presance of God gets our hearts on fire. "God shows up!!! He will begins to do something in us. You will be floored on what God can do in your life and others. Than you will be saying to yourself and others 'Oh my gosh, you won't believe what God did...'" You will be more than ready to meet with Him again the next day…and the next… Hee Hee God is calling out for those who will be aggressive for Him, but doing that does not come without a great cost! (tell me about that one) With that we have to begin now to live our life in purity! no matter what mistakes any of us made in the past and I have made pleanty. God isn't concerned about past sins you've confessed and turned away from. He's concerned about the now. Are we living in purity today? II Timothy 2:21 makes it clear as day that purity is a big thing for achieving God's purpose for your life. Our lives l will be clean, and you will be ready for the God's to use you for every good work."
