Stand For What is Right

Others say. . .
That abortion is right

I say. . .
That preserving the life of the unborn child is right

Others say. . .
That homosexuality is right

I say. . .
That only a sexual relationship between a married man and his wife is right

Others say. . .
That pornography as an art form is right

I say. . .
That keeping sex sacred and protecting the lives of our children is right

Others say. . .
That doing what feels good is right

I say. . .
That doing what is right despite the circumstances is right

Others say. . .
That there are many different ways to God

I say. . .
That there is only one way – Jesus Christ

What is your stand?

Our culture is being determined by those who are willing to take a stand for what they believe in and let their voice be heard. Those who are speaking up are unafraid of backlash, mocking, and persecution. Their beliefs cause them to risk their reputations, their securities, and even their lives, for the sake of their cause. As a result, their voices are determining the culture and values of an entire nation.

If the body of Christ remains silent, then we will continue to see our culture conformed to the values and beliefs that we inherently oppose. If we are afraid of persecution, mockery, and backlash, thus choosing to keep our beliefs to ourselves, then we forfeit our rights to influence the culture of America.

We are at a crossroad here in America, and it is time that we also exercise our right to raise our voices and stand for what is truly right. We must take a firm stand upon the word of God and raise our voices in truth, in righteousness, and in love. Our battle for America is not against flesh and blood, but a spiritual war for our nation, our culture, our children, and our future.

Will you take a stand for what is right? Will you risk your reputation, security, and even your life for your nation and for your beliefs? If we will not, then others will, and they will not only determine the culture of America, but her future as well.
